Floating KING 5’s Boat

Charged by the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) to promote boating in the region, Lisa created an innovative and fun program for KING 5 Evening. The NMTA worked with local boat dealers and provided Evening with yachts branded with the KING 5 and Evening logos for use as their on-water studio for hosting their show up to a dozen times throughout the summer months. The program is entering its third season and has resulted in 100,000s of positive broadcast and social media impressions of boating and the boating lifestyle.

Additionally, Lisa has placed hundreds of boating stories with Evening (and other Seattle media), representing all aspects of boating: wakeboarding, crabbing, kids sailing camps, boating and dining on Lake Union, how to get into boating affordably, sailgating to Husky games, Duck Dodge and more.

One of the stories that Lisa was responsible for concepting, pitching and facilitating and that was brought to life and produced by the talented team at KING 5 Evening was nominated for a Northwest Regional Emmy.
